Here is also the service history:
https://secure.drivers.lexus.com/lex...=2&d-16544-p=1
Is it worth it?
I'm hoping to get a loan from these guys:
https://www.burbankcity.org/Loans/auto.aspx
^2.25% APR for 5 years isn't so bad.
The head lights need to be cleaned, and the service record history looks promising.
Only thing I need help on, is what would be a good price to get this for?
I'm thinking, if I get this car for $15,000 out the door (tax and fee's included), is this a good deal?
If I get it $15k financed for 5 years, that's $265 a month, which translates to $15,900 in 5 years.
Thoughts on this?

If you are paying cash, offer 12-13k and it would be a good deal (based on 14k for 110k miles).

The car is located in Southern CA, and I know that everything here is more expensive then any other part of the country.
I think I'm just gonna wait, you guys are right. 150k is pretty high.
I don't even know if they'll be able to give me a loan or not.
Anyway, my bad if I wasted anyones time, but thank you all for your input on this.
ps, if the link didn't work, the VIN is located on the car link.

Don't do it guy.
Buy a new Civic or something for a couple of grand more or a late model CPO car.
Spending $15K for a this IS with 150K miles is nuts and financing it for 5 years is even worse.
Just my .02.

As has already been stated, that's way too much for 150k miles.
In most cases I'd do a search here to show you examples of cars that are better deals, but I only came up with one: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false. I think the main issue here isn't the "deal", but the fact that you're looking at a Lexus with 150k miles. Yes it's true that these cars are very reliable, and there are people on CL who have gotten well past 200k on their cars without major problems. But you're clearly on a budget and concerned about money, which means you likely will not be prepared when one small thing (gauge cluster, water pump) fails and it costs $1000-2000 to fix.
There are definitely people out there for whom a $15k IS350 would be perfect. Those would be people paying cash who either have DIY experience or cash reserves for potential repairs. It's absolutely crazy to think about financing a 5 year old car with 150k miles; it's a recipe for disaster. Like those above, you should instead be looking at a less expensive car like an Accord or Civic. Hell for not much more, you can get a brand new car.
This is a buyer's guide to the used 2IS, and it shows some of the common issues on these cars and how much they cost to fix: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...e-threads.html

It's funny you guys are telling him to get a new Civic instead. I traded my 08 Civic with 36,000 miles for my 06 IS250 6MT with 104,000 and gave $2,000 to boot. I don't regret it one bit. I only owned the Civic for 2 months. That's how bad I hated it.

No one on here is saying he'll like the Civic more than an IS. People are just recommending financial prudence and common sense. I have a 2007 IS350 I like a lot that I got for $25k, but I'd love a used F for $40k, but I know that might not be in the cards for me. I might even be able to finance that amount, but it wouldn't be smart because it'd be used and would be a higher risk than a new car which has a full warranty that protects you from unexpected thousand-dollar repair bills.

This tells me all I need to know. If you are looking for a $265/month payment for 5 years you need to be buying a new-ish Civic or similar. A 5 year loan on a car with 150k is absurd and I am surprised anyone would offer this loan for a $900 profit over 5 years.
If you are paying cash, offer 12-13k and it would be a good deal (based on 14k for 110k miles).

I paid $25k for my 06 with 14k miles in April 2011. I debated a few cars around $20-$21 that had 60K miles, but to me the low miles was worth the extra couple grand. I wouldnt pay much more than 10 grand for a car with 150,000 miles.
