Has anyone used 245/40/18 tires for their rears?
Thinking about buying new winter tires for my rears. I have Blizzaks right now that are the standard 255/40/18 for the RWD 2IS. I'm wanting to go a little narrower cause 255 seems too beefy for the rear compared to the front. Anyone else use 245/40/18 tires for their rears?

i use whatever my front snow tires size is for the back too. in the winter all 4 of my tires are the same size on my is350. hasnt hurt it going lower then the standard size.

Sango, how would getting narrower tires throw off the odometer? Only the width is being changed and not the sidewall. The thing is that my fronts are 225/40/18 and they look sort of stretched. When looking at it from the back, it comes down at a 45 degree angle. While in the back, the sidewall is completely parallel with the rim. So I figured that maybe 245 or even 235 will make it look like the fronts more and would help to go narrower in the snow.
After doing some searching, it actually changes the revolutions per mile by like 10. But I guess I'll do 245/40/18, it seems to look better and easier to find.

For my 18" stock tires, I do not see anything wrong with the fronts or rears.
