Door handle key cap cover missing.
I got out of work today and noticed that some jerk pried off the key cap cover on my passenger side door. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement for cheap? I already checked my local dealer and they want $19.75 just for one piece and figured I should ask you guys first. My car is Starfire Pearl. Also, these a-holes must have used a flathead screwdriver or something because they also chipped some paint off just to the left of where the cap would be.

Yea, I've already filled out an incident report at work and they're going to be installing cameras overlooking the lot asap.
I believe I found it on sewell. With the clublexus discount it comes out to 7.39.

I'm assuming its part number 69217F. Does that sound right to you?
edit: nvm, just noticed I need the right hand side so it would be 69217E for 20.82. Weird how its such a huge price difference.
Would you happen to know the part number? If they're interchangeable, I wouldn't mind buying it from you.

I doubt they were trying to steal the car. They just wanted to get away with a free cover. That's why the cover is no where to be found. Car thieves don't need that cover
Modern locks are very difficult to pick since most use smart keys. Thieves these don't pick locks... they "slim jim" the door like what cops do. Basically they slide in a thin flat hook like device which hooks onto your door lock lever and pull up. And voila!!! door lock opens...
Smarter thieves sit near by with a frequency detector which intercepts your key fobs signal then immitate it whenever they want to open your door and drive off with your car.

FYI,
The right side "cover" is actually a two piece assembly. It also includes the piece that goes INTO the door itself; whereas the driver's side has a lock cylinder, the passenger side just has a plastic filler. This part # includes the plastic filler.
