Default Help, I've searched and cannot find decals for stock calipers

I've googled and searched on this forum for info on where to buy Lexus decals. I bought the paint and I'm doing red calipers with metallic silver decals and my complaint is xenonmods and motogfx don't mention if you are using stock calipers. Does anyone have pics of their stock calipers?

Ps, I'm doing this on an is250 2007

Thanks in advanced...
E Double

ebay is where they're at http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LEXUS...ts_Accessories I'm not sue if they all fit for your 250 sized caliper. This is what I found quickly.

Dumb question: could you put the decals on with out painting? Would they still be noticeable?

sure they are. You could get white to match your car. Some people put a clear over them so they won't get dirty and peel off.

^ +1 for MotoGFX. I've heard about issues with some eBay decals - as always, it's luck of the draw.

I would paint them. You don't need to, but it looks much better.

Only buy from MotoGFX! I brought my decals from them originally. However, since I painted my calipers in the middle of winter in my garage at 25 degrees, it came out sloppy and started chipping so I decided to repaint them in the spring. I cheaped out and bought those eBay decals and they weren't even the right sizes. They sent me 6 total for some reason, all of which were too small for the IS350 calipers and too big for the rear. Also, they peeled off after driving in rain. So I just paid more for the decals from MotoGFX and it was worth it!

Those eBay decals won't fit stock IS250 calipers.

This is what I did when I upgraded to my 350 brakes. High temp gloss black paint, let it cure, apply decall, apply high temp clear and presto.

I havent had a single problem and the calipers look freshly painted like the first day I did them.

Got mine from Motogfx. I'm not really wanting to paint my calipers, but I have a 250 so they are silver now. Wish I had black ones from the factory!

There are different decals for the 250 vs the 350!

theres a curved version which i have that is for the 250's lets say...more compact calipers and a straight one for the 350 that has the larger flat surface. if you get the flat ones they may not fit so well on the 250s caliper.

make sure to get the right one. also, if you find one that does inverted lettering on one side that would be good.

only after buying mine did i realize that they are not mirrored decals i.e. read the same direction on both sides. most are identical printouts, so on one side lexus will read from top to bottom, and on the other side unfortunately it reads bottom to top.

not many people notice this but to me it kinda irked me when i was putting them on.
