saw bunch of threads saying the 06 didn't come with the shark fin antenna but my co worker just bought an 06 250 with it. anyone else with the 06 that has the shark fin antenna?

Maybe the last owner installed one or maybe glued on a fake one for looks? The '06s didn't have an option for the shark fins.

It didnt come standard it was a dealer option/ad on, my 06 350 had the XM installed and had a functioning shark fin. I found the recipt for it being installed at the dealer as a "we owe" to the original owner in my glove box when i bought the car. I think XM sucks so i sold my tuner and wiring etc.. to a forum member on here so now the fin is just for looks i guess.

If you want to know if its real or fake just push the sat button on the radio... if the channel 001 pops up and starts talking about subscribing then it has the tuner installed in it.
