Unhappy Any help would be appreciated [connected battery backwards]

ok... I have an 06 is350 my battery was shot so i replaced it but put it in backwards! I know--- dumb dumb dumb. Anyway. I got the car to start, changed two 30 amp fuses under the hood. The car starts, radio, lights, clock work fine. The problem is the check VSC light and the exclamation point along with check engine and traction lights are illuminated. In addition, the car only idles. No acceleration at all. Please let me know if anyone has experienced this and if so, what am i up against.

Ive tried:
1. resetting the ECU by disconnecting the negative battery terminal

Okay.. when Lexus Roadside assistance came to give me a simple boost job they screwed it up by boosting it backwards.. I am assuming it's the same amount of damage and my IS350 is a 2006 as well. Anyways they had to replace a multitude of items all from Japan. Total bill came to just over a $1000 and a month wait time.. Good thing they owned up to their mistake and took care of the bill.

They actually wanted ME to pay for it first then have Lexus reimburse me later on. I did not like the idea so I phoned up Lexus of Canada and told them about the situation and they said they would contact the dealership to take care of it.

I couldn't remember all of the things replaced, but it was quite a lot. Have your local Lexus dealership check it out and let you know.

The guy just said he paid 1,000 bucks to fix his vehicle. You are probably looking at the same amount for your repair... Electronics don't like reverse polarity!

Oh if it makes you feel any better. My car couldn't start at all... But that maybe because the battery got killed? I know they replaced the battery too.
