Yeap. I completely understand.
My ISlow50 is more like it.
Although I do love the fuel mileage.

Are there any shocks that are nicer then OEM as far as smoothness is concerned? Like aftermarket?

ISlow50?!? Haha. Man, so true. The car is beautiful though - both exterior and interior.

IS250 and IS350 have the same suspension. Different years are slightly different and there is the normal and sport suspension, but for any given choice, the IS250 and IS350 are the same. (RWD that is, AWD has different front stuff).

I was going to say that you need to make sure you're not comparing a 250 with the sport package to a 350 without it.

sorry dude, I don't feel a difference. I own a 350 but when I have to take it to the shop, they always give me a 250 as a loaner. I think the suspension is the same....

I own 350 and I feel that the tranny is not as smooth as my cousins 250, and then my gf's 350 ride comfort is more quiet and smoother than my 350 given the same age and mileage for two cars, so I think tires are important in comparison but I don't know how to explain about the tranny

Try riding in an IS-F. It will make your ride in the IS250 feel much better.

My mom's 250 feels like it rides smoother than my 350. The loaner car 250's that I drive also feel smoother than my 350. I assumed this was because the 350 had stiffer suspension (because it is heavier) but other than that I'm not sure what could be the problem but the 250 IMO def feels smoother (then my car at least).

Doesn't the 350 weigh more than the 250? If so, the 350 may ride smoother due to the extra weight on the suspension. If I load up my trunk full of stuff in my 250, it always rides smoother.
If it's not any of this, then I'd say the age and mileage of the vehicle would be the other biggest factor. The more things age and breakdown, the worse they do their job at isolating the vehicle.

According to the specs I found on 2011 models, the IS250 weighs in at 3455 lbs vs. 3527 lbs for the IS350. I don't think 72 lbs is going to make a difference in the ride.
