Unhappy 2011 F-Sport factory wheel repair

Long story short. Wife drove car, wife did grave damage to stock rims. Because of the color do you think these things can be repaired? I am willing to buy replacements from Sewell but at about $475 each shipped (times 3), I would certainly prefer to have them repaired.

And please no bashing. There will never be another time that anyone besides me will ever be behind the wheel again.. EVER.

Pics to follow.

Dude I curbed my rim within the first week. I wanted to cry. Your wife did 3 rims? Oh god.

Local places quoted me about $100-$125 for one rim. Shouldn't be too bad for you.

They will likely be able to match the colour.

Your wife damaged three wheels? Damn.

Color match technology does wonders these days, you'd be surprised. Give it a shot.

But you are all giving me some hope that I don't necessarily have to shell out $1500+ for this..

Ouch. My wife always want's to drive the IS. I have let her a few times but I'm scared each time. I was sick last week and her car was in the shop, so she drove it a couple times without me. The car's ok because I tell her to take everything wide and please park in the back of those parking lots.

Should be able to fix them though! Things we do for our women lol!

I feel that pain (though I only had one of my wheels scratched) =/

Mine was hit while parked and the guy got my front bumper, fender, wheel and part of the driver door =/

My wheel was repaired just fine, color matched perfectly and you'd never know it happened. I know they didn't replace it, it was repaired for sure (I have more wheel weights on it than I did before haha). Here's how the damage on mine looked.

OUCH!! We used rim doctor for a much smaller place (maybe 3 inches) on my 2009 lobster claws and they did a good job. I think ours cost about $100.00 but it was nowhere near that bad. Hope you can get them repaired and not have to shell out major money to replace them.

Here's mine. I told myself to park far away from the curb and even used the mirrors to see the distance and failed so hard. It's like I focused so much to not do it that I actually happened.

I'll probably fix it when I have extra $$ laying around.

Most expensive wheel repair place by my house is $250 per wheel. Most local shops just charge $100-150 per wheel. Just check with local shops for quotes. I scraped and BENT my front rim the first week I bought my IS parking in a rush at school. I repainted it but I scraped it again in a dark parking lot making a tight turn. I just got tired of it and left it.

This. I got so butthurt and emo about it and eventually came to realize that it's just a car. Sh-- happens. It will probably happen again, which is why I'm not as in a hurry to repair it.

Yup, my front right wheel is getting too beat up. I messed it up once and promised myself to be more careful since this is my first car anyways (need more experience), then I was dumb enough to left my friend who just got a learner's permit practice driving in my car. He did very good but at the end when we switched, he drove my car up hard against the curb and scraped the same rim. I got so mad and painted it again. Two days later, I was in a underground parking lot and scraped the same rim making a turn and driving up a tiny curb in a lot. Stuff like these accidents happen and I just no longer care unless it's real bad stuff, then I'll fix.
