i'm with you bro,but if it comes with family i will give up everything that i want for the sake of my family.it's really hard to take this away from you specially if you put a lot of sweat to your car to make it clean in and out that's why i called it my 2nd wife, but you have to make a decision where you must weigh in and think which is really important, you can always have a nice car in the future and think your family right now unless you have a thick pocket to afford another car which is for your family...this is only my view it's up to you and good luck whatever will be your decision..

damn if I was anywhere near LA I'd scoop that up from you. gorgeous car.

*EDIT*
what "family" car would you get to replace the 350? seems like a nice car that can still accommodate a family.

I don't see how an IS can't be a family car. Sure it's not very big, but you CAN put a car seat (or two) in the back. Especially if you aren't that tall, and don't need the front seats all the way back. Unless you're planning on having triplets, an IS can make do. Yes, it's not the BEST option, but it's not impossible either. I would keep it if you can, honestly, because you've obviously spent a lot of time and money to care for the car.

A quick Craigslist search (in my area) came up several IS350s with similar mileage, all are going for 29k+. And that's not even including your mods. IMO you SHOULD be able to get 28k minimum.

You mean to break up with her or not to break up with her.

I'd say keep your IS and fork out several thousand to buy an SUV; or maybe just turn your IS into the family car. IMO the IS isn't that inconvenient as a family, yes it is small but its not as if its a coupe. There are plenty of members here who DD their IS with car seats and a trunk load full of baby gear. Maybe have your fiance swap her ride?

You growing an insta-family or something? Why would you need to give up the car now? Wait until you have kids at the very least. Even then, no problems with a car seat. It's plenty safe considering it's got airbags in every direction imaginable. No reason you can't keep the car and trade it in when the time comes.

what is your reason for selling it? you said your fiancee wants to get rid of it for a family car. what is consider a family car? suv or full size sedan? i think the reasoning should be deeper than this... you should stop modding it to save more money though. BTW - you have one of the cleanest IS ive seen. I would buy it from you for more than 26000 if i was in the market and around town!

Man I know your feeling now, because my girlfriend want me to trade my 07 IS 350 in for the new GX 460 I tell her why don't you trade in your RX 330 but I would go to the SUV instead of the minivan
