Id get white on black rwd 350. not need for the awd and if your going to mod the car, awd is not the best choice.

id get exactly what i got (twice!) first was a 250 in starfire pearl with black interior, then i traded her in for a 350 starfire pearl with black interior

navi is a must have! i dont care about garmin being better or whatever, but in the end, having that nice big screen completes the luxurious looking interior... i always get compliments on how nice the interior is of the IS, navi makes it better, plus having ur iphone music via touch access is convenient (along with bluetooth calling, etc)

and remember, if u do upgrades, stick to oem/f-sport when possible, its just better fit for the car, its worth payin the small premium, or just be a smart shopper and find good deals out there (and in the classified section here too!)

pre ordered in 05, got everything i wanted... 350, color, nav, ml, lux package.
to do it all over again i wouldve got a used 2nd gen GS300 and drove that for 2yrs then pre order an IS-F
if i only knew the IS-F would be in the making....

No regrets here either. I got exactly what I was looking for, an SGM X-package is350 with Nav. Patience and research is key.

& I would agree that it's harder to mod an AWD, so go with RWD.

The only things I'd change about my car are things that were never offered by Lexus in my car in Canada... So I'd still order the same car.

basically i'm fine with whatever options. i wish i had gotten the 350 instead of the 250. So unhappy with the power of the 250

I got an IS350 sport package, Nav system etc etc, the best of the best, but i made the HUGE mistake of buying a black car, it is hard to keep it clean, it shows little scratches ....bad color

If you care in the least bit about performance, get a 350. The mpg difference is insignificant (2 mpg...) but the power is a world of difference. Also, CPO is worth the money on anything used just because of all the minor (but costly) glitches. Color is a matter of personal preference. A black interior is soo much easier to maintain though. Also, look for a Sports package IMO, best of all worlds. I love my ML stereo but if you plan on doing any stereo mods, just go without ML/Nav and do an aftermarket upgrade.

I have a Breakwater Blue AWD IS250. I bought it because of the AWD. If I was in the market now, I would by the AWD IS350 in white color if possible. I love the color of my car, but in my opinion it is tough to do exterior mods on this color.
