Attention attention THE WAIT IS OVER. TSB IS AVAILABLE! Make an appointment first come first serve before they go on backorder. Mention L-SB-0005-12. Have dealer order the headlamps if they can if not come to get them inspected.

I'm going to wait a while. At least till my headlights get some rock knicks or whatever. They will only replace them once, so why replace some perfect headlights with a little bubbling inside. I'd rather rock some brand new headlights for free in a year or two!

So my current head lights are bubbling and I would love to get the new set.
Do you think they would let me keep the old ones? The housing is in perfect condition they just are bubbling on the inside. Never know what may happen to the new ones and if I could just swap them back to the old ones if something did happen i'd go get em this weekend.

No u can not keep old ones. They will be sent back. The new headlights come as a set not individual. Isc and isf is the same part and isx50 4dr are different part number

Does the TSB still effective if we modded the headlamps (relocate and tapping wire) to fit the 2IS models prior to 2011? The reason why I asked is because they might reject the liability since it was "modded"

If you purchased your housings via a Lexus Parts Department and installed them on an earlier model, it should come with a 1 year warranty from defects and etc....
The warranty starts on the date of purchase shown on the receipt..

The Lexus issued LSB will apply to 2011+ Lexus IS's that exhibit "Headlamp Housings with Poor Paint Appearance"...

Do you know if the new lamps have both the ripples/eyelashes in the clear housing and the mirror-like finish below the LEDs?
I'm going to contact Sewell soon about replacements via warranty. They're going to have to send me the new lights before I send back the old ones.

Great news!
