Default 2007 IS250 Headlight

So I'm trying to replace the low-beam bulbs on my 2007 IS250 and get conflicting info from 4 different dealers. One tells me my car came with Xenon bulbs, another told me it came with HID, another told me they are the same and another told me that Lexus makes it's own unique bulbs that are Xenon-HID!!

What gives! Who's telling the truth!! Does anyone out there know which I should buy?

If you have HID you need D4S bulbs

HID - D4S as above.
These will work if you have the HID lights

Lexus OEM bulbs are made from Philips.

If you want white lights and retain the OEM brand, then Philips Ultinon 6000K, if you are willing to spend the money.

Here some clarification... HID and Xenon Blubs are the same thing. If you IS has a HID/Xenon blubs then you need D4S bulbs. eBay is great place for these bulbs if you ant OEM the brand Philips is the way to go (color temp 4300k some even call it 4800k). If you want to go little crazy you can get Garax 6000K for a good price! If your IS has halogen bulbs then you need a H11 blub (you can find this at any auto part store). Hope this help!

Thank you all! I bought some Heliolight (?) bulbs and my mechanic put them in, one side worked but the side that was not working still didn't work. He told us that he felt the ballast was gone and probably had happened because the used car dealer we bought it from had left the protective cover off the back of the headlight case! Do you think that could be the reason and that we should replace the ballast? I saw them on ebay, OEM for $69 each, the side that is working, does go out once the headlight heats up, but will come back on if we switch the light off and back on again...any advice is greatly appreciated!!!!! =)
