Default Newbie Question: What Type IS250 do I have?

Hey everyone,

I'm a new IS250 owner and plan on replacing my tires soon. I wanted to buy them from TireRack and just pay a local Discount Tire to mount them for me.

I couldn't figure out what tire size I have though, so I was hoping I could get some help here. I looked through the owner's manual, but there were several different specs (Type A, Type E, etc.) listed in there.

How do you know what model specifically you have?

Sorry if this is a really simple question, and thanks in advance for your help!

Don't go based on location! You can either look for the sticker in your drivers door jam that lists tire specs or look at what tires are already on it.

Just go outside and look at your tires. They print the size right on them.

Doesn't mean he'll have 18's though. Base size for RWD models in the USA is 17".

Are you going to the Winter Haven Discount Tire? I get all my tires from them since i don't live near TireRack anymore when I lived in SW Michigan. I run Pilot Sport PS2's. They'll give you a good deal.

I travel 95% of my time for my job as a consultant. I'm not home very often. I'm not home right now. I plan on purchasing my tires online when I'm not at home.

But thanks for the smart *** response.

Thank you to all the real responses.
