Hi all,
i own a 2006 IS350. Ever since i got my HID bulbs replaced my AFS light "AFS off" keeps on blinking. I tried to toggle through the control panel to turn AFS On, but does not allow me to. Initially i replaced my OEM bulbs with 8000K Garax bulbs and thats when the light appeared. One of the bulbs blew so i replaced those with Phillips, and hoping at the same time it resolves the AFS light issue. Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?

that could be AFS motor malfunction? I don't think it has to do any thing with the bulbs? try to unplug the battery to see if it clear? good luck

^ Yes, installed H&R Springs. Come to think of it, i had those springs installed at the same time as my bulbs (last year). Suspension could be the cause?

Your installer did not properly re-install the AFS sensor arm that sits next to the Rear Drivers Wheel.

If nothing was broken, then yes...

Installed Lowering Springs = AFS light Blinking ???

This is the afs sensor in the rear driver side. I just had my car lowered a few days ago and my afs light was blinking on the dash. So annoying but it is a simple fix. The best advice I got from Joes link is adjusting the arms to sit at an L shape and not a Z. As soon as my mechanic made it an L shape. No more afs light.
