Default looking for tires

I've been browsing the forum for the past few months and have found a lot of great advise. This site is awesome.

a little bit about my car:
2006 IS250 AWD with 30k miles
I've done a couple things to the car since I bought it a little over a month ago.
K&N intake, (2) 12 inch subs, 8000k HID headlights & fog lights, smoke tinted aftermarket taillights, carbon fiber wrapped console and door buttons, replaced all interior lights with LEDs, and replaced the front blinkers with LEDs.
What Im looking to do to the car:
20x8.5 rims, tint the rear reflectors, window tint (probably 20% all around) & JDM grill and bumper grill

my question comes on the choice of tires.
I think I've found the rims, but have no idea on tires.
I want to go as wide as I can without any modification. I don't want to lower the vehicle because I will have to drive it in the winter. I like the look of lowered, but I need the functionality of the awd (otherwise I could have saved myself some money) I will keep my stock rims and tires to use in the winter, so the 20s wont see snow. Stock height on tires is fine and the rims I'm looking into have a +38 offset (which is close to stock) I also don't want to stagger the rims and tires so it doesn't matter which tire goes where when I need to rotate or change them out in the fall/spring.
what tire size would you recommend for this? 225/30/20 seems to be as close to stock as I can get and probably wouldn't have problems, but can I go 235 or 245? Lemme know your thoughts.
Thanks

245s generally won't fit on the front. Some 235s will just fit but it's too close to call 100%. You'll be fine with the 225s (there's a reason the ISF has 225s).

would 235s rub on the fenders, or just the liner? Im ok with heating up the liner a bit to move it out of the way, but not willing to roll the fenders.

did you have to do anything with the liner to fit 235s?
