While this is cool my sister drives a 2004 Ford Taurus with ~255k and has had only 1 major issue. It was a transmission at 200k. My point is more I bet you just took care of your car well. It's a lot to do with the owner. Congrats.

Congrats on such a milestone. Glad to hear problems are minimal even at 250K. I don't think I will ever have a car for that long but if Lexus continues building some sporty cars I don't really see a point of switching luxury brands with that reliability. As for your axles, I had to replace 2 on my Subaru after only 80K miles so lasting that long is incredible.

Nice. Glad to hear. I'm planning to take my 350 to that point and beyond. Only at 60k not though so I have a ways to go.

I hope to do the same, but currently, I only have 50,4xx miles on my 07 IS250.

Any carbon build up issues?

Dang that means you averaged about 50k miles a year? Nice! Awesome to see a Lexus IS250 go that long. I always knew it cud but never thought i'd hear of one with more than 200k miles since it only came out in 06. Looks like you really made use of the car though! Gotta freicken love that Toyota reliability. You should send your story to Lexus, they can probably use it somewhere for advertising

I plan to keep my IS250 till it wont roll anymore, so its awesome to hear stories like this!

250K, now that's impressive number of miles for a 2006.

Best to diagnose and fix overheating problem before it becomes fatal.
