Hey guys, I'm going to stop modding my car this month. Im stuck between some decisions, and would like others to give thier opinions

I have a 2006 IS250 AWD. and it currently looks like this, only difference between first and second picture is the AVS visors.




my last mods are going to be oem trunk spoiler to go along with my roof spoiler, and V-Led 6000k DRL lights.

Im also stuck between getting used G-Spiders, or getting Megan EZ coilovers. I want to close up my wheel gap... Anyone feel free to chime in about megan ez coilovers, im a bit worried they might cause me trouble later on Keep in mind Im only gonna drop my car 1-1.5 inches. Dont say BCR, I want them but im on a tight budget

and lastly Redouts or Smoked taillights. I know its a simple decision but this has been bothering me for a while...if i smoke, it will not be too dark. More like a dark cherry red.

Any ideas? will upload pictures inside and out of all the cheap mods i did on my car at the end :]

A (very) light smoke would look really good on your car, but I really HATE that amber taillight portion. I'd only smoke it if you can get rid of that amber somehow. If not, then go red outs!

Ok im definitely choosing coilovers, is anyone having problems with the Megan EZ? I really dont wanna run into problems later. What process would i go about to rebuild it if needed?

Never had a problem with my Megan LPs and EZ Streets.

Even though it sounds like you've already decided, here's another vote for coilovers vs wheels. I also vote for redouts instead of smoked tails.

How about covering the chrome around the side windows with black vinyl?

I've used Scotch/3M #37 electrical tape before. It holds up for several years. A roll can do a couple of cars and if you don't like it or screw it up, it's easily removable.

I actually saw this done on another car and thought it looked awesome. do you have pictures of it done with electrical tape? if it looks good ill def try
