I personally have purchased my LED's from VLED. No issues and depending on the various SMD, bulbs can be very bright. They usually have large discount sales from time to time. Become a fan of theirs in FB to receive alerts.
Good luck with your purchase.

i think VLED is pretty much the consensus but some people have had issues with the rear dome light replacement causing the key to stop working or give an error.

With regards to LEDs and comparisons, I am not too sure. I have purchased many different leds from a lot of places, including VLED, and oftentimes I am disappointed or pleasantly surprised. There is just so many kinds and technical jargon/marketing gimmick that it's hard to take anything with a grain of salt. Read some of those threads above - I am sure they are helpful.
In terms of brightness, 4-5K is what I would recommend as being the brightest. Afterall, stock HID bulbs are 4300k. For interior lighting, I personally prefer it to be a little softer, but that's only because my last car had the whole Blue cathodes/dome lights thing going on. Needless to say, I had bad headaches, and vowed never to do that again!

They're probably talking about 4000k. 5k should be white with an ever so slight hue of blue, just not as much as 6k. The colors should be the same if not similar to the HID bulb color scheme, as in the kelvin rating.
