Default Bye guys... Moving from my IS350 to an IS-F

Hey guys - I finally bought my dream car, so I'll be joining dark side of the forum now

I've had my 350 for nearly 3 years and loved it. Being a big car guy I've always wanted an F. Recently, I REALLY wanted a v8 again. Well... after serious consideration of a wide range of v8 cars (including a 24hr purchase of a Range Rover Sport Supercharged, long story short Christmas came early in my gauge cluster and I was able to return it), I finally decided it was time to pony up the cash and buy my dream F.

It's an 08 with only 82,000 km (not miles). The previous owner purchased extended warranty so it still has 11 months of warranty!!!

I just picked it up yesterday and I already burned through 3/4 of a tank. This will be a fun daily haha

Congrats, however you should have ponied up the extra cash for a 2010+ for the LSD.

Sweet upgrade. Low miles too was probably 2nd car for someone. Congrats nothing better than the sound with the 2 extra cylinders.

Yes he also has a C63 AMG which is basically the daily beater lol. The F was his baby, he only drove it on weekends. Never in the rain or snow.

Thanks very much everyone! I couldn't be happier. For those that haven't driven one, it feels like a completely different car than the 350. Steering feel, suspension, throttle response, everything. I keep going for drives now, so on top of the gas consumption being more I'm driving it even more too haha

Nice transition to the big brother F. There's a few subtle mods you can do to your 08 IS-F to really make a noticeable difference to the handling feel such as the F-Sport rear sway bar, RR-Racing USRS or FIGS bushings, and/or the 11+ IS-F steering ecu.

Have fun shredding your tires!

If I decide to get IS-F I might also keep my IS350. Love them both.
