I'm not sure though that the dimmer LED would override the brighter LED with that setup. Why wouldn't the brighter LED stay on regardless? You almost need some sort of way to have them switch.

Well I will say the 100% brightness LEDs are pretty bright at night. Not bright enough to light up the road of course, but bright enough to probably annoy some drivers directly in front of you. I liked the look of the 50% brightness LEDs at night with the low beams on more. But nothing beats the 100% brightness of the LEDs during the day, so it's worth it IMO.

I thinking relay fuse to split the power and test on some source of the light to see there are a solution? I like the bright of the LEDs, but at night if it too bright is kinda annoying

thinktwice has definitely given great progress so far, but i also agree with you. there has to be a way to dim during night.

looking good! I like the new look of the headlights and was wondering, if you had your factory halogen headlights before, how did you install the d4s hids? As far as power and the wiring is concerned. Are you just running your low beams in the projector with the high beams in the actual slot provided? I'm not familiar with how d4s hids work.

D4S is just an HID bulb type. The new 2011 HID headlights only accept the D4S bulb for the low beam, so it was just a matter of placing the bulb where its supposed to go in the headlight. The only thing connecting the headlight to the rest of the car is the harness connector (plug), so all of the wiring in the headlight connecting the lows, highs, LED strip, parking light, turn signals is run through that.

that plug look like 9005 female plug for high beam? I might be wrong, but from the head light look like it from 2010-2011? because from 06-09 headlights has box dust cover, not round cover like that

That is the connector for the turn signal and LED. I don't know if you have it already, but there is a round cap that covers the bottom that has the wire coming out of it to connect to that plug.

That plug is apart of the whole wiring harness of the headlight. That's a 2011 HID headlight.

Covers/caps to all of the openings where something plugs into. Not sure the part #'s anymore, but if you call or go to a dealership they can print out a photo diagram depicting each part of the headlight assembly with part #'s. Just be sure they're providing you the parts specifically for the 2011 HID headlight since it has some different parts than the others.
