For $140 most likely they are not doing the right job. Go to YouTube and look up auto geek and learn the process of detailing a car. Invest in a Porter Cable or a Griots Garage and get some supplies and DIY. This way you can do it on a nice Sunday and have some fun doing it. Not to mention you can get the results you are going for.

I stopped by the one place today and it is $139.99 for their full treatment - the girl working said they schedule you for 5 hours.... so my guess is there is only a max of about 4 hours of work being done, not 5 or 6

Also stopped at a local Toyota dealer (need TPMS calibrated done too) and they offer a Interior/Exterior Full detail for $120.... I'll probably go there and get get the TPMS and detail done all at once, and they give a loaner.

I "live" in Wisconsin Rapids area - work in Stevens Point.... but spend about 3/4 days a week in Menomonie (still have 8 credits to finish at school) and then am back for 3/4 days around Wisco Rapids working. Its a huge PITA to make the drive 1/2 times a week but the new job gave me salary already so between that and the drive was enough motivation for me to get the IS250, so it alllll worked out.

I'm going to a place near me which is charging me about $159 for a $300 job due to some coupon deal.

With it, they do the following:
• Hand Wash Exterior w/ Foam Gun
• Blow Dry, Remove All Moisture
• Clean Rims, Tires & Inner Wheel Wells
• Clay Treatment To Remove Insects, Tar & Road Debris
• Apply 1 Step Cleaner Wax w/ Orbital Polisher
• Clean & Condition All Exterior Vinyl & Rubber Trim
• Apply Signature Tire Gloss
• Clean Interior & Exterior Glass
• Interior Vacuum Including Trunk
• Clean All Door & Trunk Jambs
• Disinfect Dash & Center Console

It also includes their "stage II" service which include using a cutting compound, polish and hand wax and conditioning the leather interior. Not too bad. This is scheduled to take an entire day or about 8 hours. Not too bad.
