Default Black Detail

I just bought it a week ago. The paint was full of swirls and scratches. Took me about 7 hours, but I got most of them out. I love this car, just needs tint now.

Pick up some Poorboy's Blue Natty's paste wax for dark colors and you won't be disappointed! I love the way it makes my obsidian IS250 look

I have the Poorboy's Natty Blue, good stuff. It'll get a coat of it this weekend. The wheels get dirty faster than the car. Next up is a set of ceramic brake pads.

Looks good, however this is the reason won't ever buy a black car, shows the swirls too much
I'm buffing my lex this week and not looking forward to it. Prob will take me 8 hours or so..

I told myself that after my first car, since then this makes my 3rd black vehicle. They look the best when detailed properly.

I was hoping to get a black IS but I came across a good deal on TP. Black does truly look the best when done right. I remeber when I had my black blazer I clayed/waxed it took almost 13hours its all part of the passion of loving your car so its well worth it.

dawg, you just need to build up your stamina or do it in pieces.

It's gonna rain here most of this week so I detailed the engine and interior on the weekend...

almost killed me not washing it but it would have looked good for all of 3 hours if I had...

I just got my exterior done by a detailer this weekend (wash, clay, 1 step polish (got a full correction last summer), wax) and my cars paint literally looked fresh off the production line (starfire pearl)...and now its gonna rain 7 out of the next 8 days i dont trust myself with a buffer yet unless i can get some serious practice in, so i let the pro's do it.
