Default Getting Service Done at Lexus with Lowered Car

Just got a recall notice on my car about the Fuel Pressure Sensor, and was just wondering for those who have lowered cars do you guys leave it lowered when you guys bring the car in for service? or do you raise it back up?

no need to adjust..

all they're doing anyways is just tightening the fuel pressure sensor a total of 10 degrees. lol

waste of time i say... if anythng they will replace the fuel pressure sensor gasket (pn: 90430-12026)

tools needed for this repair:

standard hand tools
torque wrench
torque wrench adaptor
union nut wrench 24mm
and inspection mirror.

shop supplies needed:
brake cleaner
protective tape

if is250:
dealer will re use your cold start injector gasket (pn: 23293-31010) and air surge tank gasket ( pn: 17176-31050)

Not sure what you mean was a "waste of time", whether you meant raising the car back up before service or getting the recall done, but in any case the recall is definitely not a waste of time. I noticed a fuel smell around the front of my car a week before the recall, I brought it in and sure enough that gasket was leaking gasoline.

Hmm nice to know. I was wondering about this since i'm getting coilovers in soon. I've seen some lowered cars going in for service, but none that are "slammed"

your car will not go up a rack with out them having to use wood to raise the ramps.

I already know that for a fact! I meant don't think the car will go up a rack on this recall.

Does anyone have a diagram of the sensor and connection assy.? I live 125 miles away from the nearest dealer and if it's a simple fix I might be able to do it at home. I have all the necessary tools and have 50 yrs of experience wrenching. I don't want to spend the nearly $500 for the shop manual. Thanks for your input
