Has anyone tried this? If so, could you please provide a description of how to detach the housing from the inside of the bumper. knowing how to do it exactly will be helpful when i have my arm half way through the wheel well with no vision.

FYI - ive swapped my fog bulbs, so i know the process of getting back there. but this time, ill be to trying to remove the entire housing so i could bake it and paint it. removal of bumper = no go. if its possible to have enough clearance to pull the fog housing out through the wheel well, then im game!

Honestly you could probably get it out but think about how hard it will be to put it back in. I wouldnt do it.
