i assume its the gift card from the valve spring recall... i had to call lexus to ask for mine.. and they said they needed more information .... so still waiting..

Do u guys think I can get one. I got the recall done few months back. Got a letter for getting the erasing extended. If I call and ask about the gift card do u guys think it might work out and they'll send me one?

I'm still waiting on my gift card. I had the recall done months ago and when I called lexus a week or so ago they said that I would be getting one but couldn't tell me when because they got backed up. Everyone in Florida gets the gift card whereas everywhere else you get an extended warranty unless you already bought that yourself, in which case you get the gift card as well.

To save everyone a lot of time with 93 more stupid pages of "gift card? How do I get one?" since there's already an insanely long thread full of those posts:


If your car is not under the valve spring recall you don't get one.

If your car IS under the recall and you do not have an extended warranty and you do not live in Florida you don't get one. You get 30,000 miles added to your powertrain warranty instead.

If your car IS under the recall and you DO already have an extended warranty OR live in Florida, you should get one INSTEAD of the extra 30,000 miles on your powertrain warranty.

called Monday and they said my card should be issued this month...

Its a 1500.00 voucher towards a purchase of a NEW Lexus vehicle.

OR

A 500.00 gift card ONLY for Lexus in house products as you wish.

i had my recall done a couple weeks ago and i do have the extended warranty. i dont live in florida. and i wasnt told about any gift card, but i got a letter for another year added to my warranty. does this sound bogus to anyone else considering i have the extended warranty?
