DDM vs V-LED HIDs
V-LED has their HID kits on sale and DDM is always cheap. Which is better? I have read a lot of people have the DDM and like them but I am looking for some V-LED feedback. Any pics (of either kit).
Also, on the DDM website there are all these extra items (drop down menus). What is required? Link

I've got the ddm's in my fogs and headlights. Had a problem with a bad ballast within 1 month but got them replaced under the lifetime warranty. Ever since then, it's been running perfectly for the past 9 months.
As for what is required, just the kit you want.

Using two DDM kits one 55w on headlights driving Philips 85122+ bulbs and one 35w fog kit
Over two years now. One time the ballast stopped working. I just turned it on and off and it's been ever since.
Highly recommend DDM!

well, i for one feel bad for them.
-anyone who pays $30 for an HID kit and complains when the bulbs are 500k off is an idiot.
-id be willing to bet that DDM had no idea: they get their bulbs by the palate from china and just pull ones out of the labelled boxes. you mean to say that china/taiwan could be selling bulbs with the wrong color rating? no way. and DDM cant sue them, i have a funny feeling knockoff HID bulb companies arent under the jurisdiction of the "bait and switch" laws.
-clearly theyre screwing the form up, but so what? buy a kit from ebay and youre doing the same thing. in fact, id be willing to guess anyone whos not selling OEM D2S philips bulbs is importing them illegally. and were all breaking the law by using non-DOT approved reflectors, and non-DOT approved projectors, so who cares.
so congratulations to the people who wrote this, you attacked an american company that a lot of people used for cheap HID kits, and exposed the HID game for the shady business we are all aware it is. at least DDM wasnt making $60 on every sale, but now that theyre gone, we can all collectively get ripped off by other HID sellers who buy from the same merchants anyways.

I think this post makes a good argument tho...
I had a DDM tuning 3000k slim HID kit on my fogs in my old car, worked flawlessly for months. The materials quality was good too. I can't complain, and my buddy has had DDM tuning in his headlights + fogs for over a year without issues.

plus can't you just replace the bulbs with proper ones and still have a cheap kit. of course if the v-led is better from the box then maybe that is the one to get
