HELP: Rear Dome Light Not Working
For the longest time, I have not seen my rear dome light turn on.
Is it suppose to turn on when one of the rear door opens?
I have my "DOOR" setting on (so when I open my doors, the front dome comes on). The "ON/OFF" setting is off (so the front dome goes out once I close the door).
Is there a button that controls the rear dome light? If there is, why can't I find it? If not, what's going on?
BTW, all the interior lights work and I've just upgrade them to VLEDs. But this issue came up before installing the VLEDs, so I don't think thats what's causing this.

Edit: I noticed this morning when I had my key in my pocket (and opened the rear door) the front light turned on.

...from the Owner's Manual.
Looks like you are right about how it's supposed to work. This (see below) is from the owner's manual. I guess my only question would be does "rear interior lights" include the overhead lights. I'm guessing no. Perhaps it's worth some additional testing with and without the keyfob? I'll try to test a little more tonight. I'm sure someone else probably has more insight
Illuminated entry system
The following interior lights come on automatically when you approach the vehicle with the electronic key on your person. Note that the illuminated entry system operates only when the interior light switch (door position ON/OFF) is ON.
-- Front overhead courtesy light
-- Rear overhead courtesy light
-- Outer foot light
The following lights turn on when any of the doors is unlocked or opened.
-- Front interior light
-- Rear interior lights
-- Front foot well lighting
-- Front door courtesy lighting
-- Front scuff lighting
The following lights turn on for approximately 15 seconds when the engine switch is turned to OFF from the IG-ON or ACC mode. (The lights turn off immediately if the doors are locked or the engine switch is set to ACC or IG-ON mode.)
-- Front overhead courtesy light
-- Rear overhead courtesy light
------------

Thanks for the post rebs.
I looked through the owners manual too and saw the exact thing.
So for all three scenarios, everything works EXCEPT for the rear overhead/interior lights.
I'm thinking there is a fuse blown, but haven't checked yet.
Is there a fuse specifically for the rear dome lights? If so, which one?

I don't believe there is a fuse specifically just for the rear courtesy lights, but I could be wrong. I did have the courtesy light fuse blow once when I tried replacing my trunk light bulb and that took out all my courtesy lights. That was fuse #9 (see page 299 in the owners manual). I will say there is an undocumented fuse below #9; I originally thought it was a spare (which is still possible), but there are actually connectors in there.
Sorry I can't be of more help; I just started replacing some of the interior lights with LED's myself.
