Default I hold the pink slip to my 2008 IS350 - what's next?

I'm debating the 2011 IS350 F-Sport Efition or a used IS-F or holding off until the 3rd generation IS... Decisions decisions. My current IS350 only has 9,100 miles on it.. Hmmm that itchy new car syndrome drives me crazy.

I made the jump from an IS350 to a 335i coupe..but if you're sticking to Lexus..I'd get a used IS-F.

I say save up and enjoy your current ride. Who knows? You might not like the 3IS, and there should be a bunch of 2IS's and IS F's for sale then as well. But do enjoy your ride and try to save up. You only have 9k on the odometer and you're already eating depreciation, so might as well make good use of it.

I would wait for the 3rd gen to make that decision just in case they really crank up the design and other goodies!

No brainer... the car is paid off so keep it. I was always taught not to make payments. I have been tempted numerous times to trade mine in (its free and clear), but the thought of paying interest makes me sick. Unless your going to trade yours in and pay the difference in cash don't do it.

Itchy new car syndrome? With 9k on the odometer, I think your current car should still be satiating that new car syndrome. My IS350 was purchased 3 weeks ago with 56k on it and I'm still loving it like a new car.

I was in your situation not too long ago. I was eyeballing the ultrasonic blue ISF.

Decided that I love my baby waaay too much. There really is no reason to trade him in right now. The ISF is super nice but this car has proven itself to me.

^+1

I also just got my 08 350 w/ 32k on it and I'm still lovin it like new too. Just keep the 08 and wait for the 3rd gen...especially if its paid off. I'd love if mine was paid off but my payments have just begun!

Since you already have a IS350, I would use this opportunity to get in a ISF (a used one like you said) or just wait for the next generation.

For me, I wanted a brand new car and didn't previously own any IS so I ended up getting a 2011 IS350 F-Sport.

When it comes down to it though, pick something you won't regret.

I do love the 2011 350... And obviously the IS-F... Hmmm thinking of waiting for the 3rd gen IS... Save my cash until the 3rd gen comes out.. If it's a no go for me use the cash and trade up to a new IS-F. Who knows... but it does feel good not having a car payment.

I'm also thinking of doing some more mods in the mean time. The mods would cost less than a new car... Hmmm.. But let's face it.. That feeling of driving around in your new (or used new to you) car is a wonderful feeling.
