Default key fob running out of juice

I only have one set and now it seems like my only fob is out.
Can i replace the battery to the fob or do i have to buy a new one?
The nearest lexus dealer is about 150 miles away, but i do have a toyota nearby.

Any suggestions?

pull out the little metal key and where it was you will see a grove where you can place your key and twist. this will pop open the key fob and you can replace the battery. im not sure what kind of battery but i assume its like a watch battery.

Yes. Gently pry it apart.

Lol at the idea of having to buy a new fob.

hey its not that out of the question...these look like the batteries inside the tire pressure sensors and once those go out they make you buy a new sensor since the battery is basically imbeded in the sensor with glue or something. I dont know why they decided to go that route.
