Default I painted my calipers yellow!

Had the time to finally paint my calipers this weekend. I had trouble getting the lug nuts off but a tire shop got them off for me with an impact wrench. I got home to realize the front wheels were stuck to the hub. A friend an I tried kicking it, spraying PB Blaster, and driving around with the lugs loose and braking hard. Yesterday was perfect to try that since it was snowing, we tried slamming on the brakes with the lugs loose since I knew it would skid and probably break loose from the hub but it still didn't. So, in the end I just painted all my calipers with the wheels on and they didn't come out as good as I initially wanted. Once the weather gets warmer, I'll Plasti-Dip my wheels black. Eventually, I'll repaint my calipers gold with the black decal along with 19'' Linea Corse LC818 in Satin Black. I'll probably let the tire shop in the future break my front rims to get them off or whatever.

Cheap picture at night with my phone camera, can't afford a real camera.

Only on one front wheel at a time, they were stuck anyways. I only went through my ally.

I doubt that will work. I was doing my window tints with a heat gun and tried it on my wheels. My wheels still won't bulge, the heat gun even made some on the paint on my wheels bubble. My tires look all beat up from kicking it so many times. I could care less about getting my wheels off now. In a few months, when I have enough cash to buy new rims, I'll let whatever the tire shop wants to do to get it off.

Must have been real hard to paint with the wheels on but it looks good!

Oh and please be careful. Please don't drive with the lugs loose. You could have really gotten hurt, especially in the weather you have.

The calipers look really good (I am aching to do mine but haven't gotten around to it yet), but the driving with lug nuts loose is an epic fail!

I don't know about different. Honda's were doing yellow in 95' Not very smart to paint calipers with wheels on either.

IMHO, You are dumb for driving with a loose lugnuts.

But brave for going yellow.
