NO SEATBELT?! you are one lucky person...thats rule number 1!!

anyways glad to hear that you're okay. hopefully this serves as a lesson for you to wear your seatbelt whenever you get in a car, even if you're not driving.

basically he switched onto my lane hit the breaks and bam thats what happened and i tried to get out of the way but the right side of the car didnt make it

Sorry to see your IS like that, and I'm glad you're ok now. But yeah, DEFINITELY & ALWAYS wear your seatbelt! I lost one my close friends as he was thrown out of his car and died at the scene a year ago because he wasn't wearing his seatbelt when the accident happened. Consider yourself lucky!!

Sorry to hear about your car. Glad you're ok. I see things like this all the time working as a firefighter. You got pretty lucky. I don't think your air bags deployed because your metal bumper reenforcement didn't get damaged. The fender, hood, and grille got messed up. The bumper skin is the only one that broke off. Just my guess though. At least it can be replaced. I'm not even going to mention the seat belt cause you're an adult and I'm not going to lecture.
