Default cpo is350, good price?

hello,

ive been in the market for quite some time and will about to purchase a car and wanted your feedback if this is a good deal.

CPO SGM IS350
2008
27K miles
Navi
(i dont know what option package is on the car, i just only need navi.)

the dealer is asking for $32k out the door with tax, title, and registration. i plan to put $15-20k down and finance the rest. your thoughts on the price? i'm also trying to negotiate with other dealers to see what their best price is for a similar optioned vehicle.

thanks.

That's murder man!!! I've seen 08 ISF's for 35k with under 40k. I bought my SGM is350 sport with nav over a year ago for 27k and it had 24k miles. It was basically the same age as your car at the time if not younger cuz I bought it in 11/09. It wasn't CPO but still. That dealer is jerking you, tell them to sit on it. If they think it's worth more then move on.

well, after reading the, "how much did you pay for your isx50" thread, seems like a lot of people are finding deals for much less, but i dont know if their price is out the door.

My '09 IS350 was $40k OTD, brand new. $32K seems to be far too much for a used IS350, even one with relatively low mileage.

haha, at this point, i think i should just get the 2011 is250. the only reason why i wanted the 2008 is because im not a big fan of the 09+ cosmetic changes. maybe the new design will grow on me, although the extra hp from the 350 would be ideal.

No, get the IS350. "102 extra HP" doesn't do the car justice. There are other important differences that make the IS350 substantially more powerful than the IS250.

If you're not a fan of the tail lights (probably the most prominent aesthetic change from 06-08 to 09-10; '11 receives clear turn signal indicators which many feel give the tail lights an overall cleaner, sleeker look) you can always swap them out.

How much for it before TTL? I just bought my 08 IS350 w/ 34k Yesterday and I paid 26.5 + TTL (came out to be 29 something in Washington). It was not a certified pre-owned but I found that they weren't budging at the Lexus Dealers for their CPO's. I don't know what your car has but mines loaded with Navi, Mark Levinson Package, Luxory Package with Memory Seats, and included the optional GFX Kit. Hopefully this will be a good barometer of what you can expect as I was looking at ones with your mileage and was planning on offering 27-28k but ended up with this one instead.
