Default Question for those who changed their footwell lighting?

So I'm thinking about changing out my footwell lights for something much brighter. I brought this LED panel off eBay for less than $4 for the trunk and it's super bright. Whenever I open my trunk in store parking garages where it's dark, everyone who drives by always looks over cause it's that bright. Anyhow, I want to do the same for my footwells but I noticed that when my interior LEDs dim, they flicker in the process. What's stopping me from putting these LED panels in the footwell is that I don't want them to noticeably flicker now that they are way brighter making it more noticeable.

My questions:
1. Is there is way to stop the flickering such as resisters, modules, relays?
2. For those who put brighter lights in already, does it flicker a lot when dim?
3. For the fun of it, I might also want to put a panel under the front seats so the "footwell" for the rear passengers become lit. What wires would I tap into under the front seats or can it not be done?

Thanks for any help!

well i can address your 3rd question for you. lol. instead of replacing all the footwell leds in the front (and i added lighting for the rear), i put led strips. i did not want the led's to fade in and out when you shift to and from park. i've got them connected to the cigarette lighter to keep them on whenever the car is on. good luck! i hope this sort of helped!

I'm interested in putting a panel or strip under the driver and passenger side. If you end up doing it, could you post pics. Please?!?

How do you install that LED panel in the trunk? I'm interested in it but don't know how it gets installed..

I have a led strip, check my diy. You dont notice the flicker in the dim when you move from park to D. Personally i like the dim because i dont want hella bright blue footwell lights when im driving as i would be easily distracted.

Easily distracted by the pimp Nike's! LOL. I have it wired to my mirror puddles. They dim after the lights on the mirrors dim.

FYI, oznium.com has nice thin led strips that come with 3m adhesive on the back. I have been using them in my scion tc for over 3 years now with no problems.
