I decided to pass. However the reason why I'm thinking about it is because when the sun is high around noon it shines right through and is kind of annoying.

- I also don't want to close the sun shade thing and not be able to have light. But I dont want so much light that it bothers me.

I'm pretty sure the state trooper will have an say in that haha. I know mass they'll make you pill it off on the spot or pay a fat fine. It's also a reason to get pulled over.

thats the purpose of the sunroof shade. but i know if your in DMV with 5% tint you WILL get pulled over everytime unless youre a cop, related to one, have a truck, or just down right lucky. I got repair orders for 30%. looks nice though

yeah there are state laws. I'm already knocking on wood as I type my next line..

I've had 5% on my cars for 15 years of driving. Never gotten a ticket or hassled about it.

on the tint...Does it make a difference if you tell the trooper that it was purchased from a dealer that way?

Tint was the first thing I did to this car in 2002.
