My avg meter shows 20.6 but if i calculate manually it hardly goes 14 miles per gallon. I did my maintaence but it improved from 12 to 14..wat else can be the problem?? the engine shows fine and there is no check light on.

are you mostly city or mostly highway? when was the last time you did oil change? high mileage? synthetic oil? how new is your air filter? there are a lot of variables. I hear that in the winter change over, these cars decrease in MPG

My AWD IS250 used to get 18MPG on average (city/highway).

My RWD IS350 gets 24MPG on average (city/highway).

I've never ever hit anything higher than 26MPG mixed driving.

I did my all maintenence last mnth. Air filter, oil filter, engine oil, spark plugs. My mileage is around 126k. I don knw whats wrng wid it as the engine runs fine. Any solution?? I drive my car in the city n mostly short trip.

I got 33 mpg last time. I drove at 2k rpm or lower. never hit more that 2k. got 33 mpg.

There is your problem. You want good city mpg.... Get a ct200h.

consider yourself lucky. Mine is 17mpg here. and my car is 2010 lexus is250 AWD. -_-" I thought i had the same problem. i brought it to lexus dealership. they checked everything and told me my car has nothing wrong with it. I gave me the damn paper to go back and record the gas mileage on my car..

So my call normally fully fill up approx range is 280 but last time got stuck in the snow and now it go down to 273 mileage of range approx..
drove back from the dealer, then go to work and home and work n home. total 24 miles included forward and back home. I didn't go anywhere. I am trying to change my driving habbit instead of driving 70-90 mph.. i am driving 50-70mph.. Yet it is winter i normally turn my car on and lets it start the engine to warm up..
So since monday i got the car back at 273 range approx. until today almost 4 days. i drove 64.5 miles and my range approx is 187 now -_-". i can't wait until april or may.. damn winter..

Im in Tucson, AZ and obviously our winters here are like you guys spring up northeast... And my avg on my 250 is 26.7 city, not sure on highway yet will find out once I take a rd trip and im hoping to get even better MPG with the joez pipe and high flow filter

I'm mad I get he same gas mileage as my 300hp turbo charged Subaru :lol:. I thought it would be better in the IS....nope. 20ish mpg city. May I need to stop driving it like my Subaru LOL

i have a Ferrari mpg in my lexus is250 awd 2010. here . 30750 miles so far. Yeah i don't what what is wrong with it. Lexus dealer can't help from their stupid computer said my car is good. i don't know what to do now.

the IS250's are also getting bad gas mileage due to the carbon build up, if your car has the idling issue, stalling etc then you should get it checked out.. look at this topic for more details..

Hey you just filled the tank. Keep driving and it will go up. I got about 30mpg on my IS250 and getting about 24 mpg on my IS350 now. 1 full tank was over 380 miles on 250 and about 340 on IS350.

I just put on a exhaust and i swear it seems like I'm getting less gas mileage !
