To clear bra or not to clear bra?

here is my view on a clear bra, with the clear bra on the front bumper you can see where the clear bra ends especially if you have a black car like me, and it looks like one big scratch, so far ive driven about a year and a half on my car and the chips still are not noticeable unless i can real close to the bumper, even now i cant notice it especially after i buff it...sure it will get worst over time but by then i can spend that 300-400 dollars that i would have spent on a clear bra to respray my bumper to look new again, also dont you have to change the clear bra sooner or later anyways? yea so dont see much use for a clear bra, the car looks ten times better without it, its all up to you tho

I have the Ventureshield 3M clear bra on my car and love it. One of the best investments I made fosure. Guaranteed for life not to yellow or peel. Before I had it installed, my front bumper and hood were beat to hell with rock chips. I had it re-sprayed, waited 30 days and had it professionally installed. It is worth the money since you have Obsidian with plans on lowering your car.

Clear bra was the best investment I ever made. I re sprayed my front bumper then a few weeks later got it covered. I did the full frontal wrap. Full hood, full bumper, headlights, fenders and mirrors. I had a few friends that helped me out with the install which saved a lot of money....but I wouldn't recommend doing a DIY on this...lol A real pita to do.
Went with the VentureShield. My buddy Yogi did most of the work, I was just the sidekick. lol Here's some pics to get you motivated. =)

Total concensus say do it.
I've slapped on a clear bra right away after owning my car. I learned the hard way on my Civic. I got the pre-cut one from eBay because they were cheap. I paid like about 120 for bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors... then installed it with help of friend. You need 2 people for bumper and hood. Hardest part was the bumper because I bought the 07 bra thinking they were the same. I ended up making custom slices to the bumper bra.

Nah, before applying clear bra......fully detail what you want covered. Wash, clay, wash, and polish....do not apply wax...just polish.
With clear wrap on, it will look new everyday. To maintain the clear wrap....3m has products specifically made for the VentureShield.
I personally use this for everyday, daily use:

And this once a month or so for a nice shine:
