Default Different between IS250 and IS350

How many points that differ between IS250 and IS350?

In case that I have IS250, Is it possible to purchase IS350 engine (2GR-FSE) and swap into my IS250?

I live in Bangkok, Thailand. There is only IS250 RWD A/T available here. So, just have an idea to purchase 2GR-FSE from USA.

So they don't sell IS350's in Thailand?
Kinda dumb for Lexus. It's not like they are making them in Thailand. Must be low demand. A few should be shipped there in case demand comes up.
I'm not an IS owner but I don't see any reason why you couldn't do the swap....except for money. An IS350 engine gotta be around 10K. Unless you get a used one. Wait, is Thailand close to Japan? If so, you should be able to get one much cheaper than us in the states.
I don't blame you, I have driven the 250. Way too slow.

Do a 2JZ swap instead:

I don't think its that simple. There have been a couple threads explaining a lot of differences.

Wild idea I had and have no idea if it'll work because I just have no clue!:
Buy the IS350 in Japan and ship it over?

It would be way too much work. If you're set on an IS350 try and import it like others are suggesting.
