Default IS250C and 350C owners

I own a 2002 Lexus SC430. Thinking about selling and buying either a 250C or 350C. My reasons for selling the SC430: is it going on 10 years old, no bluetooth, no keyless start, no XM, a horrible navigation system but mostly your C's a bigger and more of a everyday car. I do love the car but getting itchy. My questions are how do you like the car, dislikes, gas mileage etc?

Thanks!!!

Whatever you do, get the 350! The engine is much better and feels right for the car.

The 350 helps move the car better due to the increased weight of the folding hardtop. Both the IS350 and SC430 feel about the same as far as acceleration is concerned, with the IS being more aggressive than the SC. Both have about the same gas mileage -- about 19-20 mpg on average.

A 250 will feel sluggish. I guess it depends on your driving style. Coming from an SC430, you'll crave the extra power.

I still like the overall look of the SC430 than the IS350. However, you can't beat the IS's technological prowess compared to the dated SC.

I'm gonna have to disagree about the gas mileage statement. My IS350 sedan (when I had it) and my IS350C both get much better than 19-20 mpg. Heck, the EPA city rating is 20.

granted neither was my daily driver and both are driven mostly highway when driven, but that 19-20 figure you stated seems low, even for the 350.

yea the convertable top adds another 500 lbs give or take if i recall correctly.

I'll agree with Phillip on the gas mileage, i average 19.5 in my 350. with an equal mixture of city/highway I'm sure its very similar to the is350c...

Edit:

http://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/...c-second_drive

"Curb weight swells by roughly 400 pounds to about 3850 in the base IS250C because of structural reinforcements"
