Default F-SPORT sway

Ive been reading many threads about sway bar is a must have for the IS.
I was looking at:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/F-SPO...Q5fAccessories

and

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LEXUS...Q5fAccessories

is it necessary to have the whole kit or just the rear should do it?

I have never installed anything like this on a car but that looks really simple?
Is it really that easy?? or should I have a pro do it?

Do the new 2011 FSport ISx50's have the sway bar already installed?

F-Sport package does not have any "F-Sport" accessories installed on it. They are not the same thing.

My F-sport sway bars arrived a few weeks back and today during lunch at work (it's 70 degrees out today so I didn't want to waste the opportunity) I went to install them. But I couldn't get any of those link bolts off. My car's an '08 and was bought new 2 years ago. I'm guessing the bolts are just rusted on? I was planning on picking up some wd-40 and trying again at home. I got the entire engine under cover off and will be driving home without it on.. I hope that's not a big deal

I only got the rear. it does improve handling and less bodyroll at turning. I may get the front if I have some extra cash laying around.

careful of the bold one, the pic on the listing shows the "front" sway bar. Not the rear

I'd personally buy them both if you have an IS250, everybody will definitly say the back, but I'm the kind of person that likes the SET and you can't really go wrong with getting the front aswell... why Half *** it when you can get em both and be satisfied completely...
thats the way I look at parts going on my car anyways

^ The rear alone makes a big difference in the IS350. From my experience, the IS250's sway bars are pretty well balanced from the factory, so sways don't do a whole lot. Or at least the improvement isn't as dramatic.

The stock sway bars for the IS250 and the IS350 are exactly the same.

BTW, this thread is in the wrong section. It should be here:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...nd-brakes-198/

There is much information on the IS sway bars in this sub-forum.

if you have the is250 you can buy both. However if you have the is350, only the rear one is needed.

Let me rephrase, the handling (oversteer/understeer) characteristics, not the sways themselves, are more balanced in the IS250 out of the factory. But again, the marginal improvement in sways (particularly with the rear) is much greater in the 350. IMO, it's not worth the cost to get them in the 250 unless really big on suspension.
