I have a lexus is 250 year 2010 and I found this thread useful because I need to install new back lights onto it.
Could someone please help me with sorting out why I cant see any images or why is the images broken?

all 2nd gen IS taillights are interchangeable. Aftermarket taillights come with their own wiring harnesses to plug in. If you are switching between OEM years you will need the wiring harness for that year taillight.

^^^^Ah not quite. The stock wire harnesses are different (taillight side). The wire colors are the same however. Same harness 2006-2008. Same harness for 2009 -2013.

yes that is the point I was making, all model years will plug-in and fit the vehicle without modification. I believe the wiring harnesses also changed between 2010 and 2011 as I needed to buy a new harness when I swapped those out on my last car. If you are changing OEMs, you need the harness to match
