Just picked her up!
Hey fellas, as promised here are the pics of my new 2011 IS350 AWD. I took delivery of it at lunch today. Excuse the picture, I had to wash her real quick on the way home from work so its a bit misty...as well it was taken with my camera phone. She's getting 3M tomorrow and tint on the weekend. I'll post proper pics when it's all done. So, I guess for now it's just 1 teaser

It was so shiny and clean when I picked her up, but then with all the slush and snow that we've had recently, I had to give it a quick wash before showing her to my wife for the first time. That's why I was at the car wash.
As far as impressions go, I seriously love this vehicle. My previous vehicle was a 07 328i coupe and with the 19's and sport suspension, it handled very well. Compared to my coupe, I can definitely tell the difference with the AWD ride height. I haven't had much time to throw the lexus into a corner yet...because of the snow, but it's much smoother and quiter than my coupe was. I'm sure once I install some springs or coils on the lexus and put some 19's on it, it should be pretty responsive. I feel that the steering on the lexus is quite light and the bimmer felt quite solid. So in terms of steering feel, I do like the feel of the bimmer more, however, it could just be that I'm not yet used to the lexus.
As far as performance goes, it's not even close. With the stock all seasons, the lexus takes off effortlessly and revs effortlessly...almost feels like there's no limit to the acceleration. But again, because of the snow, I haven't really openened her up yet. As well, I want to take it easy a bit to let her break in. I picked it up with 7km's on the odo!
I just installed some winter rubber on it this morning and it feels like a tank on the snow! I love the look of the lexus...but it just bothers me to no end on how much wheel to fender gap there is! My bimmer was quite low with the sports suspension and 19's so the stance on it looked so much better. In the end, I am more than happy with my decision, I absolutely love driving the lexus. It's the right car for me and my family right now with little bit of flair for when I'm driving myself around Thanks for the compliments guys, I'll post some pics over the weekend.

Congrats.....the steering is quite light compared to a bimmer / infiniti / Honda.
However, I feel it is the right weight/heft for a nimble steering. A heavy steering just makes it that much more of a chore when you drive in traffic and have to weave in and out.
