turned out pretty well, all there is to do now is finish paint coating
took around 10 hours of labor between me and my buddy (who just got the welder about a week ago) and $19 spent on the metal. got a great sense of accomplishment from creating this!
i can DEFINITELY feel a decrease in body roll going around turns..for instance...i could never go around on-ramp at 60mph and be as flat as i was. so glad we made this!
I thought I remembered seeing kurtz mention that strut bars do NOTHING for our cars. it looks cool though and I definitely give you props for doing this.

i wonder if he ever tried it himself because i can definitely feel a difference. a lot less body roll when going fast around turns. the car stays planted and is pretty flat. our cars werent race-inspiried made so there isnt that much structural rigidity to the body. adding something like this is a great way to decrease body roll and increase rigidity

no difference in ride/suspension quality. just feels more stable going around turns

I think Kurtz just had an issue with the name "strut bar"...really this should be called a "rear tower brace" or something...our cars do not have struts, thats why...
+1 for the fabrication...jealous as I have been looking for one of these!
