Default Aftermarket Exhaust

When installing an aftermarket and or midpipe exhaust, is it necessary to change the stock hangers?

Default exhaust question

All the aftermarket parts should work fine with the stock hangers. Simple bolt on.

if your exhaust piping is hitting against the heat shield, new hangers won't fix that. either bend the part of the shield that's hitting against the exhaust piping back, or cut it out altogether.

Some aftermarket exhaust just have poor fitment, you just have to bend things to make it look right.
