@toker haha your IS is more like an evil twin! murdered out twin!
to get that lens flare, did you take your pic with the high beams on?

@sir i'm excited for you! your car will be a world of difference after changing all those lights you got from stock! you should change your fogs as well and you'll feel like you're driving a different car

brociouz! haha i'd never think yellow lights would be my style either! that's why i never went with yellow fogs~ but as i said.. i didn't have much of a choice.. other color bulbs don't make a difference in DRL mode, i needed my high beams so i couldn't go with LEDs
but i'm glad the yellow DRLs turned out pretty nice along with my black grille surround!

toker! how long did you have your yellow bulbs for before you sold them? haha i didn't know there was a market for used bulbs out there as i thought the life of these bulbs weren't so long and they aren't too expensive to begin with!

CLIS250! your DRLs seem more amber than my luminics
what brand are you using? or is it perhaps just the white balance of the pic?

Bro if u read his sig hes got the same brand as us. I think the color of the car makes a whole lot of difference, thats why it may seem more amber to you.

Question to everyone who has switched their DRLs, did you consider getting a plug-n play heavy harness just in case it over heats or is there really no point

thanks for the input

hey buddy!

yes, i HAVE considered getting a heavy duty harness
but since many ppl have the luminics i have and they claim to have no problems.. and although i need my high beam function.. i don't leave them on much, so my DRLs are basically always running at 30% power, which means they never get too hot
so i decided to take the risk and save $20 for the heavy duty harness
i was considering to get the luminics krypton series which give off more heat, and if i have gotten that i would have gotten the heavy duty harness for sure! but that series isn't recommended for our headlights as it's way too hot and may melt the housing if ran at full power
if i went with nokya, which is 75W instead of 65W (stock is 55W btw) i would have gotten the heavy duty harness for sure as well

but again, if you're really not feeling comfortable with it.. and you'd rather spend a bit more to ensure nothing goes wrong with your car in the future, then i think getting the heavy duty harness will have nothing to loose!

Does anyone think there would be a problem running MTech 9005 yellow bulbs 150W for my DRL?

I have NOKYA yellows in mine, i HATE DRL's they look like crap so i had the dealer turn them off, now i can see my LED city lights. I do like my yellow high beams though, they match my yellow fogs.
