So sick bro. I always wanted the five axis GS front. But figured the labor costs would be insanely high. If u don't mind me asking did you have to alter the frame at all or was it all just customization of the bumper

The front bumper looks great! I wish that was done when you came over to Atlanta in April for the Hennessey meet so I could see it in person.

Honestly I LOVE that bumper but not the splitters or fender flares...Hopefully new CF lip looks much better!

How did you get the bumper to fit? Is it custom or an actual GS bumper with custom fit?

As for the work performed:

The only "old parts" reused was around the headlights.

It was then stitched together using hot bumper staples.

Then a liquid bumper epoxy was used to fuse the bumper together. Then sanded, prep and paint.

No frame, front core support etc.. issues. Just bolts right up. The chrome grill has to be stitched also to change the bodyline so it will match the hood lines.
The ends for the bumper bracket (crash bar) were cut off but its still there
It still uses the IS OEM hood gasket and cooling panel. So when you lift the hood it looks OEM.

The cost was alot really. But if you look at the options it's really inline with a JDM bumper.

4 GS OEM parts were @ $1600

Bodyshop time + Paint was $1000

So $2600

Most aftermarket bumpers are $1200 - $2200 for just the bumper not shipped.

Props for the creativity and definitely a head-turner. Not everyone's taste but your creativity earns my respect.

Very impressive I expected more work, actually bc I wasn't expecting the width of the bumpers to be the same? I was thinking the GS bumper would be wider? This was what stopped me from even attempting this.I was thinking I was gonna have to do some plastic wielding + fiberglass. Plastic wielding is not fun, and I didnt want to use too much fiberglass either bc the roads here are crappy and I'd be pretty prone to messing it up. I've already repainted my lip twice. I wonder how it looks without your fender flares? Cost doesn't sound bad at all imo especially when you consider what it is. I've done all the body work on my trunk but the the way you describe what had to be done Its definitely out of my league. I assume you got your bumper through Lexus or sewell complete with the grill etc? Thanks for sharing the details man. Great looking car
