I'd like to know how much of the OEM stuff still works correctly. I can see stuffing the engine in and getting it to run, but getting all the rest of the stuff working would be more than a nightmare.

A) Will this work for the IS350?
B) Is Toyomoto willing to do this conversion on a IS350?
C) If so, how much?
Seriously, a proven install like this, properly documented and capable of being performed as a "common" conversion would make the 2IS a freaken' legend in car tuning....just like the 240SX with a RB26DETT. I for one will definitely do this conversion if Toyomoto can do it on an IS350.

Based on the postings over on my.is he got everything to work, including the smartkey system and paddle shifters, with the exception of the VSC system (it's an older 250, so no VDIM to worry about)... so he does get the VSC light on the dash but nothing else.
He kept the electric steering, drive by wire, the gauges and climate controls all work, etc...
I believe it's a non-nav car without the lux or sport package, so that removes a few things he'd otherwise have to worry about too.
I would guess if VSC doesn't work he also loses TC and the pseudo-posi effect of the electronic diff too.
But he also mentioned there is no documentation and it was done over a period of over 2 years... (and that it was by far the hardest swap he'd ever done).... so I doubt he's gonna be doing this again anytime soon, and there's nothing "common" about the conversion.
