Default Shipping from Canada?

anyone have experience shipping wheels from Canada to the us? Is it safe? And do you recommend insuring it? Also what's the average time it takes?

I'm pretty sure it safe just remember you may pay a brokeage fee from ups for crossing the boarder after you get your wheels

i did, very safe as long as you pay the broken fee no matter what you have to pay if they ship by ups, it's around $60 bucks

K what wheels can you only get in Canada that you cant get in the States? I live in canada and its a pain trying to get anything for my car from canada.

unless its used from a CL member like im doing..BUT i just got a call from UPS today. Not only do i have to pay the brokerage fee but i ALSO have to pay duties!? Total of 145 bucks! Seriously??

Sounds about right. We get KILLED on fees across the border here. Best thing to do is drive them over the border!

you can broker the package yourself through customs. just tell the shipper to write that you will broker it yourself. go to your local customs office and pay for the taxes.


you shouldn't have to pay duties since they were paid when they landed on the port by the original company.


in the end, you should only be paying for taxes.
