Default Considering to switch to LED for 9005

Hi,

I recently purchased a certified 2007 IS250 AWD and planning to modify some of the exterior lights on the vehicle. So far, I have replaced the stock HIDs with Garax 8000K and plan to get PIAA Super TERA Evolution H-519 6600K to use them for the parking lights.

My question is regarding the 9005s. I have read so far on various websites that it appears that the LEDs are more for show than for usable light output. I am a bit hesitant to make the switch because I would also loose the High beams. I did notice PIAA has a 9005 LED in both 6000K and 8000K and wondering has anyone used them before. If they are something comparable to that of a halogen, I could make the switch.

Your input would be appreciated.

Thanks

Been on LED 9005 (DRL/High) for several months now.
Granted I rarely use high beams, I woulnd't change my decision going LED.
