I don't frequent the IS forums much but I truly am sorry to hear about this...
Insurance will cover your loss right?
It seems like one of the only ways to at least give the thieves a very hard time is to slam your car to the ground, that way they will just give up when they cant get the jack under the car and go to the next target.

Chances are whoever stole your wheels and calipers probably live close by to have found your car there. And secondly they're probably aware that people with 250's occasionally buy 350 brakes as upgrades...
but i feel ya. i look at it this way--it certainly sucks but the best thing is just to move on and take the next step which is get new brakes and new wheels and most importantly, what can you do next time to prevent this. just my two cents rather than just saying "it sucks...thieves suck...etc" good luck mate!

Damn that sucks, Sorry..
Yeah Wheel Locks are useless, I got a set of Boyd Coddington 5 Star Timeless 20" wheels from him for my 03 Ranger. I use to work on the American Hotrod show. When i got the wheels $750 a wheel retail. I paid $500 for all 4. I asked him hey should i put the wheels locks, he laughed and said they are useless. He told me just but reg lugs on cuz if someone wants to steal them they might second guess it cuz the wheels don't have the wheel locks. Prob think they are imitations. Had them on for years nobody even bothered me.

My only suggest is investing in a 2 way aftermarket alarm.
I have a Viper 5901 on my IS and it is definitely one of the most important mod on my car. Being highly modified it attracts too much attention. Therefore, I invested in a 2 way alarm that also have proximity (if people peek into my window, it will have a warning chirp and alert me if I am within range), glass sensor (if my glass shatters the alarm will go off right away), tilt sensor (if car is being lifted up such as this situation the alarm will go off), and finally shock sensor (alerts you when then there is any sort of strong vibrations felt in the car).
I got it for around $350 installed like 1 year ago which was the top of the line. They have a newer one that is Viper 5902. It is a very good investment if you don't have a garage or just paranoid about your car.
