HID issue. Please help.
My HID left headlight has been going out lately. Before once a month, then twice a week, but tonight 3 times in 1 hour. Is this a sign of a dying HID bulb or ballast? Thanks in advance for your input.

i have the same problem. i'm going to change the battery out soon and then get garax 6000k hids to see if that will fix it. i'm hoping it's not a ballast problem!

If you changed the bulbs last week, chances are it's the bulb. I doubt the ballast just happened to go bad 1 week after you changed the bulb. I have OEM bulbs with 29k on them if you are interested, 40 shipped. They work perfectly

It's a very common problem. Swap the bulbs around or put it in new ones and you should be all set. I've had my ballasts go on me but the thing I've noticed about a bad ballast is that the when it's a bad bulb, the lights fire up and go off immediately. If you let it sit a bit and refire them up, they'll light up and work fine. On a bad ballast, they tend to do the same thing but while you're driving, they can randomly go off again. Just my two cents.
